I'm So Cold

OK us Floridians can't handle this below 30 weather, nor do we have the warm clothes for it. I've been cold for a week. We can't even get the house warm, if it were leaking water from the ceiling I would have stalactites dangling from the ceiling. I'm so cold I want a fur Parka like the lovely lady in the photo. I hope we see a warming trend real soon!!!!!!!!!

Photo Shop Filters

Its been so long, I've had no time to do my favorite things. I awoke early this morning and everyone is still sleeping. Trying to be quite, I decided to play around with my photo shop elements program. Its been months, almost a year, since I've done this. I forgot most of what I learned about the program. So I braved it picked one of my faves of Jenna and started applying the different filters and effects. I picked a few of my favorites and wanted to share them with you. Some I'm not sure why someone would choose or what they would do with a photo like them, however I found them interesting.

This Blogs Year in Review

After looking over all the stats it would appear my most visited post is about a Pineapple Palm Tree. If you google pineapple palm tree my photo comes up first. I think that's pretty exciting considering the millions if not trillions of things out there on the web. My little photo to be first. If all you searches are looking for information about the pineapple palm my squidoo lens about pineapple palms is quite informative. http://www.squidoo.com/pineapplepalmtrees I would like to say thanks to all those who visited my palm tree post to help it climb the google ranks.

Here's to a great year of blogging, family, friends, safety and well being!! Thank you all so much and God Bless!!

What Would an Apple Say

Tap me with your finger,
rub me with your sleeve,
hold me, sniff me, peel me
curling round and round
till I burst out white and cold
from my tight red coat
and tingle in your palm
as if I’d melt and breathe
a living pomander
waiting for the minute
of joy when you lift me
to your mouth and crush me
and in taste and fragrance
I race through your head
in my dizzy dissolve.
