Photoshop Elements Cool Stuff

I may sound like a total newbie, but I am still learning this program and trying out new stuff all the time. I had to do a Google search to ask how to do this, and was looking for instructions that even a 5th grader could follow. I found them and have been playing for a good part of the day. This photo is from across the street and yes the plume is really there. I did not place it there from another shot. This is just one of my first tries doing this, thought it was really cool and wanted to share it.

Black and White or Color Photography

I can't decide what I like more, black & whites or color. I think its all in the mood. I love the vintage antique look of the black & white photo. I also love the bright vivid colors of the color photograph. The photos shown below are my two daughters, whom have been patient with my learning process. They model basically on demand and never fuss about it. We have been on this candle kick lately, and both color and the B&W pics appeal to me. We had to break out the tripod to get a clear shot and I think you could ask either one and they would say they had a blast...

Here's a little play with photoshop.... remember I said I'm still learning how to use it.....

A Hodgepodge Of Photographs

Today's outing was short, I had to work late and the early darkness setting in makes for a short photo shoot. Along with learning and practicing how to take really good photographs that you (I) would call a work of art, there is a lot of trial and error. I am also trying to learn photoshop that everyone raves about, but I find very difficult to use. Any how here are my top picks for today!
